2026.3 Summary
The release builds the first practical foundations for AI-enabled work in CM, plus the access and governance layer needed before any of it runs in a real workflow.
1 Beta We introduce AI Actions inside automation rules, so teams can start reducing repetitive manual work in flows they already run, with every run visible in a conversation-style audit log.
2 Beta We add the MCP Layer for governed, permission-aware access to live CM context, so clients exploring Copilot or other AI assistants get a safe path to work with CM data instead of an unmanaged integration.
3 Beta We bring AI Chat to the Policy Portal, so readers get grounded answers with citations from the published content they can access.
The focus for 2026.3 is learning where AI adds value inside existing workflows, not a full rollout.

2026.3: DEPRECATION / CRITICAL CHANGES
Beta capabilities
AI Chat, AI Actions, and MCP are in Beta Stage. Access is off by default and limited to agreed environments and selected users. Contact support to request access. Expect limitations and changes while we validate these capabilities before wider rollout.

Policy Management and Policy Portal
MCP brings CM into the AI assistant you already use, so you get answers and do the work without switching tools.
Ask a question and get an answer from your own documents, or ask the assistant to do the work in the same conversation: draft an update, fill in metadata, or set up templates, screens, and workflow stages.
Policy Portal readers can ask policy questions against the published content shared with them.
You only ever see and do what your CM permissions already allow, administrators decide who can connect and how far they can go, and every action is recorded in the activity log.
AI Chat gives you the answer you came for on the Policy Portal, not a list of documents to read.
Ask your question in natural language, focus it on selected documents, and get an answer with citations to the relevant source passages. Open a cited document beside the conversation to check the answer in its original context.
You only ever see content your permissions already allow, and you can pick up a recent conversation where you left it, so you reach the approved wording without rebuilding the answer through manual search.
